Data Philanthropy
The Data Philanthropy project seeks to generate links with the private sector in order to use data collected by companies for the common good.
The first milestone of this line of work is a collaboration agreement between Entel and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez
The purpose is to carry out reciprocal cooperation activities within the academic research field with data collected by Entel that have the potential to generate a social impact, contribute to social and human development, or to improvements in the design and management of public policies. The first research projects are: Environmental Pollution and Health, Dynamic Risk Diagnosis and Crime Exposure.
Within the framework of the Entel agreement, the application on research projects with anonymized data is opened up by UAI professors.
