16 Years of Crowdlaw in the Chilean Parliament
Since 2003, Chile has had a digital platform for citizen participation, Senador Virtual, where individuals can participate and give their opinion in legislative debates prior to the vote of the senators. The results of the virtual votes are processed in a report that is sent to the Senators by the relevant committee to enrich the legislative debate. This work shows the main results of the analysis of the platform and its users and provides recommendations to solidify the years of experience and the robustness of the system.
